New Mexico was one of the first states to enact a mandatory alcohol server certification.
New Mexico Statutes Annotated 1978, Chapter 60, Article 6E, officially known as the New Mexico Alcohol Server Education Program.
The Program is often referred to as “alcohol training”, “alcohol certification”, “alcohol permit/license”, and/or “alcohol class”.
Responsible beverage service training is a valuable public safety program and benefits our New Mexico communities in many ways. Your feedback on CAST classes are greatly appreciated and we encourage you to please contact the Alcohol and Gaming Division with your suggestions and comments.
We hope our website will provide New Mexico’s alcohol establishment owners, sellers, and servers, with useful licensed beverage training information.
